Eureka County Courthouse
Completed in 1880, the courthouse is still in use and features some original furniture, the ornate courtroom, pressed tin ceilings and walk-in vaults
Eureka Opera House
Built in 1880 and restored in 1993, the opera house, with its original 1924 hand-painted stage curtain, offers a unique historic experience. Call 775-237-6006 for more information.
Eureka Sentinel Museum
Located in the old Eureka Sentinel building, site of the town's longest running newspaper, the museum displays artifacts from Eureka's 1870s lead/silver mining era Call 775-237-5010 for more information.
Pony Express National Historic Trail
Most of the original trail has been obliterated either by time or human activities. Along many segments, the trail's actual route and exact length are matters of conjecture. However, approximately 120 historic sites may eventually be available to the public, including 50 existing Pony Express stations or station ruins. Call 801-741-1012 for more information.
