Facilities include a 2.3 mile paved road course (being expanded to 4 miles), a 1/4 mile drag strip, a 3/8 mile clay oval, a sand drag strip, and various other motorsports venues. Pyramid Lake
The drive to Pyramid Lake from Fernley carries you through a succession of shallow depressions between low, brush-stubbled hills. It is a pleasant drive, but long enough to create an awareness of the desert's monotony.
